Membership Eligibility.

An “analytical and life science systems” business refers to companies that manufacture and supply analytical and life science systems, including: instrumentation, chemical reagents and consumables, software and informatics, technologies, and services used for analysis and measurement in chemistry and life science applications.

A “diagnostics” business refers to companies that manufacture and supply molecular diagnostics (use of DNA, RNA and proteins to test for specific states of health or disease); companion diagnostics (molecular assays that measure proteins, genes or mutations which are used to provide a specific therapy for an individual’s condition by stratifying disease status, selecting the proper medication and tailoring dosages to the patient’s specific needs); and emerging and next generation diagnostic technologies such as cellular diagnostics. It does not include classical clinical and immumo in vitro diagnostics.

Associate membership is available to publishers of scientific and technical journals directed to users of analytical and life science systems and to distributors of those products.
