Our members provide the “tools” and “solutions” essential to conduct research, testing, discovery and product development in a wide range of industries and applications including:

  • pharmaceuticals and drug discovery
  • biotechnology
  • chemicals and chemical processing
  • food and beverage

ALSSA is focused on the business of science. Our mission is to strengthen our members’ business knowledge and performance and give them an extra edge. Meetings and programs are directed to company presidents and senior executives with the goal of familiarizing them with industry trends, changing customer needs and emerging technologies, and strengthening their development and implementation of business strategies to grow their companies in today’s rapidly changing global markets.

ALSSA’s meetings are a principal value of membership. As the industry continues to evolve and new technologies emerge, attending ALSSA’s meetings helps our members’ top management to:

  • stay abreast of what’s happening in their industry,
  • gain strategic insights on changing customer needs for products and services,
  • gather information on emerging technologies and on new market that they contemplate expansion into, and
  • develop visibility and senior level relationships with other members of the industry. Because ALSSA’s meetings are directed to a senior level audience, a large portion of the executives in attendance are presidents

Complementing our meetings, our industry-specific market statistics reports, salary and financial benchmark surveys increase our members’ understanding of market trends and allow them to benchmark and improve their market, operations and financial performance.
