Invitation-Only Member Breakfast Also Planned for January 26
Alexandria, VA (December 11, 2009) – The Analytical & Life Science Systems Association ("ALSSA") announced that it will become a major sponsor of the LabAutomation2010 Conference and Exhibition, to be held on January 23-27, at the Palm Springs Convention Center, in Palm Springs, California, USA.
As part of its high-level support, ALSSA will host a box lunch for attendees at the Conference and Exhibition on Tuesday, January 26, as the first step to launching an awareness initiative to make conferees and users aware of the value of our industry's products and technologies to increasing their performance and business success.
In addition, ALSSA will hold an exclusive invitation-only breakfast program for the senior executives of its member companies attending LabAutomation 2010. The program will examine emerging strategic trends in the pharma's industry's drug discovery and development process and new developments in laboratory automation that are being driven by the trends in pharma. Featured speakers at the breakfast will include Peter Grandsard, Executive Director of Research at Amgen Inc., and Nitin Sood, General Manager of the Automation Solutions Business at Agilent Technologies.
LabAutomation2010 is a five-day conference and exhibition attracting over 4,000 participants and 250 exhibitors from more than 40 countries. Over the past several years, the show's focus has expanded to include secondary screening, cell research, instrumentation, molecular diagnostics, food and agriculture, and forensics in addition to drug discovery and development.
