Greg Herrema and Joe Keegan take on leadership positions
Alexandria, VA (October 5, 2009) – The Analytical and Life Science Systems Association (ALSSA) today elected Greg Herrema, President of the Analytical Instruments Group of Thermo Fisher Scientific, as Chairman of ALSSA for a two-year term during 2010 and 2011 at the association's Annual Business Meeting. Mr. Herrema served as ALSSA's Vice Chair for the past year.
Mr. Herrema succeeds Art Caputo, President of Waters, who served as ALSSA Chairman since April 2007. Mr. Caputo's service on the ALSSA Board will continue as he becomes Immediate Past Chairman. ALSSA members also elected Joseph D. Keegan, President & CEO of ForteBio as Vice Chair/Chair-Elect of ALSSA.
