Spring Senior Executives Meeting Will Be Held on May 2-4 in New York
Alexandria, VA (January 11, 2010) – The Analytical & Life Science Systems Association ("ALSSA") announced that Dr. Alan S. Blinder, Gordon S. Rentschler Memorial Professor of Economics and Co-Director of the Center for Economic Policy Studies at Princeton University, will be a featured speaker at the association's upcoming Spring Meeting for Senior Executives. The meeting, one of ALSSA's semi-annual meetings for the presidents and senior executives of its member companies, will be held in New York City on May 2–4.
Dr. Blinder is one of the most influential and highly regarded economists in the world. A member of the Princeton faculty since 1971, he took time off in 1993-1996 to serve as a member of the Council of Economic Advisors in the Clinton Administration and then as Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. At the ALSSA meeting, Professor Blinder will assess the prospects for the US and global economies over the next year and examine the outlook for several key economic factors including the strength of the US dollar, inflation, GDP and economic growth, employment, etc. Professor Blinder also will share his views on what should be on the minds of senior executives leading global companies in the life sciences industry.
